Itinerary for 6 Days 5 Nights
Day 1
Ha Giang – Bac Sum Pass – Fairy’s Twin Mountains – Heaven Gate – Quan Ba Pass – Pine Forest – Yen Minh – Royal Palace of H’Mong King – Tham Ma Pass – Dong Van
On this day, we will be riding on a motobike for about 130 km, and do a little walking for about 1 hour. During the trip, you can meet H’Mong ethnicities in their natural habitat and take a look at their lifestyle.
On the way, we will have enough time to stop at wonderful places for sight-seeing, enjoy the view, and take some memorable photos.
Moreover, the Heaven Gate is up above the clouds, so the view is amazing. In Quan Ba you can see the famous Fairy’s Twin Mountains. After that we will have lunch in a small restaurant in Yen Minh.
We will then ride about 15km more to the west of Dong Van to visit the Royal Palace of H’Mong King (a.k.a Vuong Palace), which the H’Mong people built for their own King.
We will finally reach Dong Van at about 5pm. You will stay in a homestay/hotel and have dinner. Dong Van is a quiet village which is nice to walk around, go on the small market in the old quarter.
Day 2
Dong Van – Lung Cu Flagpole – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac
After breakfast, we will visit the flag tower and the Chinese border.
Today, we will drive through the Dong Van Geopark, the best view you can have in Vietnam. The Ma Pi Leng Pass is considered as the “king” of Vietnam’s pass. On the top of this pass begins the 20km long happiness road, whith local people and a romantic atmosphere.
In Meo Vac you can see one of the most beautiful landscapes of the country. Arriving at 5:00 pm, we will stay in the Town of Meo vac.
Day 3
Meo Vac – Lung phin – Mau Due -Du Gia.
Today we will drive for 100km to Mau Due and Du Gia You will see a lot of terraced rice fields and local people. Around 1:00 pm, we will arrive in Du Gia and have lunch in the family of Tay minority’s people! After that we will trek 2-3 hours to see villages and beautiful views! You will spend the night at a homestay.
Day 4
Du Gia-bao lac
We will start early, we will be driving about 138km from Du Gia to Bao lac. On the way we will stop to take pictures of the river, rice fields, green mountain and visit Tay village.
We will have lunch on the way and by 5:00 pm we will be in Bao lac
Day 4
Bao lac – Ban gioc waterfall (ban doc)
After breakfast, we will happily drive to the Chinese border to visit one of the best pass of Cao bang (Me pia pass). We will have lunch on the way.
After lunch, we will visit the god mountain eye and we will head to the homestay (near the waterfall).
Day 5
Ban gioc – Cao bang- ba be (homestay)
In the morning, we will go to visit the waterfall and go to Cao bang city for lunch. On the way, we will take some small stops for pics and go to the homestay in Ba be.
Day 6
Ba Be-Hanoi
Very happy about our trip, we will have to come back to Ha Nội !
